Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Royal Playhouse ("the service"), a multiplayer party game hub at https://royalplayhouse.fun and its apps. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher). If you are under the age of majority, you confirm a parent or guardian is aware you use the service. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.
2. Your account
You can play with an anonymous account or sign in with email or Google. Give accurate information, and do not share or sell your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
3. Acceptable use
Play fair and be decent to other people. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against others, or post hateful, sexually explicit, or illegal content in chat, names or avatars;
- share other people's private information, or impersonate anyone;
- cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or scripts, manipulate matches or leaderboards, or create accounts to farm coins or XP;
- interfere with the service, probe or attack our systems, or try to access data that is not yours;
- use the service for spam, advertising or anything unlawful.
Players can report messages and block other players. We may remove content, restrict features, or ban accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write (answers, chat messages, display names). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and transmit it as needed to run the service, including showing it to other players in your games. You confirm you have the right to post it and that it does not break these terms or anyone's rights.
5. Coins, XP and items
- XP measures your progress and level. It cannot be bought or transferred.
- Coins are a virtual in-app currency you earn by playing, and may be able to earn in other ways in future. They can be spent in the Marketplace on cosmetic and other in-game items.
- Coins and items are a licence to use them inside Royal Playhouse. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be traded or sold outside the service. Balances can change with match results.
- We may adjust prices, rewards and catalogue items, and may correct balances that result from bugs or abuse.
- If we introduce paid purchases or rewarded ads, additional terms will apply and we will tell you first.
6. The service as it is
Royal Playhouse is provided "as is" and "as available". Games and features may change, be paused, or be removed, and the service may be interrupted. We work to keep things running and your progress safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of virtual items, coins, progress or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending things
You can stop using the service at any time and can ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect the service or its users.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
